Debbie Morris

"I live and breathe art. If I am not painting, I am constantly thinking about it - It is in my blood".
Debbie Morris paints contemporary seascapes and landscapes, primarily in acrylic. She has had a love and understanding of the sea and the natural world around her for as long as she can remember.

She does not try to replicate the view, but translates her feelings of the sea and surrounding countrysidethrough paint.
"Whilst walking along the seashore or along a coastal path, I am constantly absorbing thoughts
images and moments in time using all my senses. All these elements will become layered and
preserved in my paintings."

Her work sells nationally and internationally.

Debbie Morris, born 1964, is a descendant of William Morris (1834-1896) Arts and Crafts textile
designer, poet and novelist, and Jane Morris (1839-1914) Arts and Crafts embroiderer and artist's
model.
