Jane Skingley is renowned for her captivating seascapes, clouds, landscapes, birds, and flowers. Her art is a celebration of the outdoors, with nature and the coastline serving as major inspirations. Recently, she embarked on an oil on vintage paper series inspired by Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave.’
Jane has showcased her work at prestigious venues such as the Royal College of Art, The Royal Society of Marine Artists, Glyndebourne opera house, and art fairs in London and New York. Despite being mainly self-taught, she honed her skills with artist Charles McKinnon after starting her artistic journey early in life.
With a degree in Geography from Durham University, Jane initially excelled in public relations before transitioning into a full-time artist.
