I started working in silver in 2010 as a retirement hobby. I attended several courses at Truro college. I subsequently decided to specialise in chain mail jewellery because it is so tactile and I love the intricate patterns that can be achieved. I taught myself the essentials with the aid of some very detailed YouTube videos and a hazy memory of basic mathematics!

Chain mail is slow and painstaking work but I find it very satisfying. I only work part-time as it is taxing on the fingers and there are many other things I also wish to do.
